TF-104G 28+22 back in Holland

The German TF-104G 28+22 could be found for many years at Lanaken, Belgium, as part of a private aircraft collection.
This collection has ended and PS Aero picked up this unique two-seater from the Belgium location and transported it back to its home at Baarlo, Netherlands where it arrived January 7th, 2025.
It is now currently in storage.

In 1997 the aircraft was obtained by PS Aero and in Spring 1999 it was transported to Lanaken where it was welcomed by its new owner.
Interesting to see that after more than 25 years it returns back to PS Aero again.
We will see what the future will bring but most likely the aircraft will be sold soon because preserved TF-104Gs are very rare these days in the world.

When on holiday several years ago in the area of Lanaken I searched for the location of this German TF-104 and was lucky to find it and meet Mathieu Driessen, the owner of the Starfighter at that time. Mr. Driessen was very kind and allowed me to walk around his premises and take all pictures I wanted. As far as I could see it was pretty complete in the cockpit area but the wings and fuel tanks were very crudely attached. Whoever buys this TF-104 will need big pockets and several spare parts to make it presentable again but indeed preserverd TF’s are pretty rare and they were also produced only by Lockheed.
