MM6934 back in Grazzanise town

On February 12th, 2014 the AMI installed the completely restored F-104S/ASA-M Starfighter MM6934 in Grazzanise center Piazza Caduti Nassiriya.
After many years facing outside weather circumstances the aircraft needed attention and was brought back to the Air Base in 2020 for restore and new paint.
It was seen being worked on for example in September 2020.
In between the restoration has been finished, new paint applied and the existing serial "9-31" stayed on the fuselage.
On July 21st, 2022 the aircraft was installed back at the Piazza Caduti Nassiriya.
