F-104S-ASAM (c/n 1072) MM6772 "9-1", Italian Air Force, had been preserved at Cancello ed Arnone, at the Piazza Cav. di Vittorio Veneto, along the North-South road on this village near Grazzanise. In 2020 it was seen at Grazzanise Air Base for restoration purposes. It has been identified and id confirmed in 2022. On May 6th, 2023 it was seen being transported back on its old location at Cancello ed Arnone with fresh paint.
