Current MM6598 owner Albino Panigari gave the latest status on his restoration project.
The work is in progress , not very quickly.
The plane has been cut in three section. a cut close the first rib (near the radome) and there is another cut at the half of the plane (half wing)
Looking at its identity, the forward section/ring is from MM6931 (F-104S?) the main fuselage of the aircraft is from MM6598, the obtained tailfin (from PSAero, Holland) is from Belgium F-104G FX02 Belgium and Stabilizer could be from a German aircraft.
The owner is thinking about a suitable colorscheme and might consider to make it natural alluminium with white wings.
