The F-104G Starfighter (c/n 8284) 8284 “8-284” of 8AJU has been put preserved at the premises of the Karadeniz Technical University at Trabzon many years ago. Due to the weather the paint of the aircraft became very bad and the aircraft started corroding. A team has taken the opportunity to clean, treat and refurbish the aircraft completely and it looks like new again.
It is great to see teams refurbishing and repainting an aircraft and keeping its original identity, markings and color scheme. Well done!!!
