Today we got information from the US authorities that the registration N104TF has been cancelled.
This means that TF-104G 5926, currently owned by the Classic Aircraft Aviation Museum at the Hillsboro Airport, is no longer an aircraft which is planned to become flyworthy.
It is no longer civil registered and probably will end up as a static display aircraft.
The museum also owns an ex Taiwanese F-104G 63-13699 ("4420") which was planned to make fly worthy again, but we have no status information from that project sadly.
Hopefully we will hear more about the plans.
