Open invitation to The Alberta Aviation Museum Starfighter Roll Out August 17th, 2013

Are you:
= Ex-Starfighter aircrew?
= Ex-Starfighter Ground crew or technician?
= Worked for North West Industries in the Starfighter Overhaul program in Edmonton?
= Worked for Canadair or Orenda when the Canadian Starfighters were built?
If you answered yes to any of these questions we would like you and an escort to be our guest for the Starfighter Roll Out ceremony August 17th beginning at 10am.

Your admission and the admission of your escort is waived for the Roll Out ceremony, there will be special seating sections for “Starfighter” personnel and your contribution to history (as a group) will be recognized.
All we ask is you e-mail an RSVP to aama@live.ca to confirm your attendance and if you will be bringing an escort, we would also ask you confirm your place in Starfighter history  (i.e. aircrew, ground crew, NWI, Canadair, Orenda etc.).
The Public is also invited to attend the Ribbon Cutting” for the “New Look” of the AlbertaAviationMuseum and “Roll Out” ceremony of the “Starfighter” "104651" (c/n 5805).
Regular admissions in effect.

    Excellent, good to see this warbird has been restored to her former glory.
    I was one of 18 Techs seconded to 1 CAG (4Wing) @ Baden Soellingen in the 1970’s and was an Electrical Mechanic with # 1 crew. I can remember this aircraft being on our line at least twice for checks.
    In my opinion the CF-104 was a great aircraft to work on and to quote Capt Mark E Fairley she was the Cadillac of the skies. Well done to all involved in the restoration project.
