BOOKS and MAGAZINE publications

A lot of books have been written about the F-104 Starfighter and also a lot of articles have been published inside various magazines. This page will give (under construction) an overview on all publications between the 50s and today.
Currently we are busy creating and filling two big EXCEL lists, one regarding the released books and one regarding the magazine publications.

One of the first publications about the F-104 Starfighter was an article in the Lockheed "Star" magazine dated April 17th, 1956. By that time the typical inlet cone construction was still a big secret and masked away on published photos. See beneath this wonderful article, by clicking on the frontcover of the magazine. Daco (known for their scale-modelling products) has announced a new title "F-104" in their excellent 'uncovering...' book series, specifically meant for modellers. It is expected later in 2010. See for more information at : http://ultra.glo.be/daco/ .
