Note: It is unknown when it was officially delivered but on July 14th, 1964 it was at McClellan AFB being officially assigned to MAP.

Accident Reports:

28 April 1966 (F-104G)

It was heavily damaged after an aborted take-off while overrunning the runway. Pilot LI Ju Tao was lightly wounded. The aircraft was declared written off and forward section was cut off and lateron used for emergency escape training.

62-12224

This is all what has left of the once operational flying F-104G 62-12224 with serial "4324". After the accident in 1966 the Air Force decided to cut the cockpit section and to use this for instructional use. When it was no longer needed it ended on the scrapyard where this photo was taken.
