This photo shows the 61-2623 around mid 60s at Murted Air Base. Note the old markings carried on a bare metal fuselage and already the FG-codes applied.

Here F-104G 61-2623 is seen on the background wearing the typical mid seventies colorscheme. It was taken at Murted during the Cyprus crisis in 1974 and shows the pilots of 141 Filo (just as the squadron the Starfighters belonged).
