dd 15aug63 as “61-2618”, 4AJU (1963-sep69) w/o 20sep69

Note: This Starfighter was gained by Lockheed Palmdale (plant 14) on January 2nd, 1963 likely to receive specific MAP modifications. After a week (January 9th) it arrived at McClellan Air Base to prepare it for export to Turkey. It was officially transferred to MAP on March 19th, 1963.
We have not seen any photo of this aircraft. So if someone can help, we would appreciate this!!

The aircraft, belonging to 144 filo (4 AJU) was lost and written off this day. At least no pilot was killed but be aware that the write off could also be the result of a fire on the ground.
