Note: This Starfighter arrived from the US by boat (USS Breton) at Izmir harbour in June 1963. It has not been seen anymore after it was withdrawn from use and stored at Murted Air Base in April 1987 as "4-614". Most likely it was scrapped lateron like many other Turkish Starfighter.

Wonderful photo of the F-104G 61-2614 with serial "4-614" taken at Murted Air Base early 1981. That period Murted Air Base was loaded with Starfighters. In the background the ex Dutch Air Force 8089 (4-089) can be seen.
