26 June 1983 (F-104G)

This Starfighter crashed into a can-factory in Dajia, Taichung causing 2 death and 3 injured. Pilot Hu Tsung Chun ejected in time and was safe but slightly wounded. It crashed due to a mechanical malfunctioning.

Photos of Starfighter 61-2604 serial "4359" are very rare. Here it is seen on the flightline at CCK AFB wearing Vietnam camouflage pattern. The photo was taken at least before June 1974 since in the background aircraft 62-12216 ("4313") can be seen which crashed in June 1973... (Photo courtesy of Clarence Fu).
